This wonderful bowl was made in China and it is marked and numbered on the back. The mark is from around 1970. It is a copy of an antique Chinese Satsuma Pottery bowl, with a hand painted Moriage treatment. The entire bowl, inside and outside, has the most intricate and complete Moriage you will ever see. The bowl measures 8 1/4 inch, across the center of the top. It is 3 3/8 inch deep. The scalloped top edge is hand finished in gold paint. This is an exquisite example of the finest Moriage work, in extremely fine condition.

Item ID: 100-1333
