Victorian Era Brass Sash Pin with Multi-Colored Glass Stones & Old C Clasp

This is a wonderful piece from the Victorian Era. It is a sash pin, made of carved and heavy repousse brass. It has developed a dark patina over it's long life, which adds to it's beauty. It has prong set, brilliant glass stones in gold, red and green, around the edge. The center holds a deep blue, faceted glass stone, set with prongs that were also delicately carved. The back shows a "C" clasp in the early style, in good working order. This marvelous old piece is 1 7/8 inch long by 1 1/8 inch wide, in excellent condition.
