What a welcome addition this jewelry box would make to any fine dressing table! It is vintage silverplate, made by Godinger. The long oval shape is adorned with high relief roses. The inside is lined in a rich wine colored velvet. It is marked by the maker on the bottom of the box. This beautiful piece measures 8 1/4 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide and is 1 3/4 inches deep. Though this is c. 1960's, the condition inside and out is excellent.
