This gorgeous, gorgeous bowl is hallmarked with the Tressemann & Vogt mark 5a in green which is c. 1892 - 1907. There is also the 19th Century porcelain painter's name 'Miller' on the back. These particular pieces are highly sought after because of the incredible detail and realistic rendering of the subject which is stylized strawberries on the stem.

We are very proud to be offering the stunning example of 19th century porcelain artistry. This rare item speaks for itself in quality and design. The porcelain blank was manufactured in Limoges, France and hand painted by a talented artist.

The colors are fabulous in dark greens, reds and yellow highlights. The outside of this bowl is shaded in a very pale yellow and the interior shows a portrait of summer strawberries ready to be picked. Look at the detail here - it is incredible. The scalloped mold lends femininity to this piece.

The bowl measures a hefty 9" diameter and is 2" deep so this is not a small piece. This would look phenomenal on display with your other hand painted items.

We could not find any damage and only minuscule wear in small areas of the hand painted.
