Hello and thanks for visiting our Ruby Lane shop. We hope you will find something to interest you..

By way of introduction, we are a husband and wife team based in London, England.

Robert does the miles out on the road most days looking for suitable purchases, and Eleanor is based at home seeing to all the admin work and making sure everything in the business runs smoothly.

For more than 20 years we have been supplying our customers from the USA, Canada, Australia and the Far East and in fact all over the world on their buying trips to England with quality antiques and collectibles.

We have welcomed visits from dealers and collectors, and also from people simply searching for a unique item, to our premises in Camden Passage and Bermondsey Market where we have specialised in silver, vintage crocodile and leather items, treen, antique luggage, tortoiseshell and a whole range of other interesting antiques.

But as we all know international travel has changed dramatically in recent years and for a whole lot of reasons people are just not travelling as much.

Maybe it's the ever-increasing costs, perhaps people have fallen out of love with flying, or it could be that lots of us just don't seem to have the time any more.

And so we decided that we would take advantage of this wonderful opportunity given to us by the internet and the excellent Ruby Lane to offer our stock to customers worldwide for them to view and hopefully purchase from the comfort of their own homes.

In our regular internet searches for various items, the name Ruby Lane has started to come up so many times, that we are convinced that the increasing prominence of Ruby Lane as an international sales vehicle for top quality antiques makes it a must for our business.

And so we would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone and to assure you that we will be offering only top quality genuine antiques and that we will be adding to our stock in our Ruby Lane shop on a very regular basis.

We do cover a fairly wide range of very different items, but there is one thing you can always be sure of with our stock, and that is our commitment to quality.

24th October - As an addition to my comments above we have now completed 4 months on Ruby Lane and we are very pleased with the business we have done, particularly in such trying times.

A lot of customers have bought a wide variety of items from us, and a number of customers have bought from us a few times, and we are starting to build some great relationships.
