A particularly handsome example of a very useful magnifying glass with a handle made from Sterling silver with a superb tortoiseshell panel to the front enhanced with some very decorative silver pique inlay.

The silver collar is where the hallmark can be found for London 1916.

The magnifier itself is of course new, giving it a good clear and very usable lens. As beautiful as useful, and in excellent condition, the magnifying glass measures 7 1/2" in length and the lens has a diameter of 3 1/2".
