The solid or sterling silver lid fits well to the glass base and has an exquisite repousse decorated lid around a central circular cartouche, which is vacant and could be personalized if desired.
There is a nice clear British hallmark for Birmingham 1906 together with the makers mark "S B & S Ld", for S Blanckensee and Son Limited.
Excellent condition, measuring 5 3/4" x 1 3/4" wide.
