This wonderful piece of black memorabilia is part of a lot of salesman's samples. Some of the pieces are marked Copr C Moss 1943. The rest just have their number and Litho in U. S. A.
This is number 44, featuring what appears to be a mother and daughter. The mom is playing the piano, and the young woman is preparing to sing. This may have been some sort of formal recital. Notice the long black gloves, pearls and fancy dress on the piano player. The well-dressed young woman is wearing a corsage.
It is 8 1/2 inches long and 7 3/4 inches wide. It is in good unused condition with some age-related yellowing. It has never been mounted on a handle. Nice and clean - ready for framing.
