Lovely aqua chalcedony from India. Most chalcedony is dyed because in its natural state most chalcedony is a translucent gray color. This chalcedony has been dyed a permanent aqua or sea foam color.

The cool green blue translucence of the chalcedony plays well against the strong wine red color of garnet. Yellow green prehnite adds a warm note.

All stones are faceted, their sizes:

Chalcedony (12 x 10mm, approximately 1/2"), three cuts of garnet - teardrops (6 x 4mm), heart cut (6 x 5mm), brick cut (6 x 4mm. The prehnite teardrops are 7 x 5mm and the tiny garnet bead accents are 2mm.

This necklace is 17 1/2" long. Let me know at time of purchase if you would like the length altered. All metal parts are 14k yellow gold filled.

Gold filled is an actual layer of 14k gold over a base metal, it will last for years and is still the best substitute for solid gold.
